This is an absolutely beautiful & charming Bed & Breakfast. Very clean. The owners, Greg & Kjersten, are very nice and on the premises. They are extremely welcoming and want their Guests to feel right at home. The daily breakfast is amazing and included. There are snacks available 24/7 which are also included. There's a living room, game room/ library with a fireplace and snack room for guests to use. The Decor is stunning! Very safe and comfortable. Rooms have your own private bathroom and jetted bathtub and shower. A True Gem!! I Highly Recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

Our second time here and it was just as amazing as the first. We came for St John's Fall Feastival. First off, we stayed in the pink pumpkin room this time and it was so bright and happy. The private deck is an extra bonus. The jetted tub and large shower were delightful. The breakfasts were fantastic- like you are eating at a gourmet restaurant. We were able to walk to town for dinners and the festival- it was so close. Kjersten and Greg are the sweetest, most genuine people. You feel like you are part of their family, and they are so accommodating to all of your needs. They are always looking for a way to go the extra mile to make your stay the very best. We are so excited to come back for a murder mystery weekend next time and will try another new room.

My wife and I were going to get our first puppy and decided to find a place to stay and to say the least we were thankful that we did. First of all the place is huge and beautiful. We absolutely loved the decor and how everything looked and felt so comfortable. Our room was beautiful and well kept and the bed and amazing pillows literally gave me my first nights sleep in almost a week. The breakfast was delicious, filled with fresh fruit and a creative croissant dish. We will absolutely stay again and will recommend this to everyone I know.

We just finished our second stay at the Nordic Pineapple, and it was wonderful, much like our first stay. The building is beautiful and has an interesting history. We have stayed in two of the guest suites (the Teal Bear and the Purple Viking) and liked them both. The rooms were clean, full of charm, and had very comfortable beds and jetted soaking tubs. There are two snack rooms for guests to take advantage of, two porches, a library, and a sitting room/living room. The owners, Greg and Kjersten, are so warm and welcoming. We stayed with our four-year-old son, and they were both so sweet to him. They were very responsive to any questions or needs that arose and were easy to reach by text when needed. The breakfasts are amazing! They are also very accommodating of dietary restrictions and allergies. I am a vegetarian and there was a vegetarian version of the breakfast prepared for me each day. During our two stays we saw guests of a variety of ages, from young couples to families with children to retirees. The Nordic Pineapple truly seems like a place where everyone is welcome and will be made to feel at home. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Go out of your way to allow innkeepers Greg & Kjersten to treat you to a memorable visit! I grew up visiting my grandparents in this small town and dreamed of what this beautiful mansion must have been like to live in. Greg & Kjersten have brought this beauty back to life with stunning creativity & authenticity with modern comforts. Greg is your breakfast chef and is amazing! The blueberry French toast or the Norwegian pancakes with maple bacon or smoked pork chop... to die for! I was so spoiled by all the little touches like 24/7 coffee & tea bar, help yourself snacks and fresh cookies. Each suite is decorated differently so it's hard to choose which one to stay in! More than one visit is needed! I hope this B&B is around for years to come!

This was my first stay at the Nordic Pineapple — my first stay at a B&B in fact. Greg & Kjersten have set the bar high for all other B&Bs! The inn is stunning in every detail from the expansive front porch and balcony to the gorgeous interior decor and their delicious gourmet breakfasts, which are included in the price of your stay. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like an old friend and made to feel at home. After two days, I wasn't ready to leave, and I can't wait to return with my family! While in town, be sure to make a visit to downtown St. Johns and stop by OH MI Organics for the best (and healthiest) chocolate you've ever tasted!

This was our second stay at the Nordic Pineapple. When we stayed in July of 2022, we heard about the Murder Mystery Weekends at the Pineapple. The October 2022 weekends were already booked but Kjersten said they were planning on doing one in February 2023. As soon as it became available, we booked it. We are so happy we did. We stayed in the Blue Ram room. It was big and very accommodating. The weekend started Friday evening with a meet and greet with the 6 other couples staying at the Pineapple. At breakfast on Saturday (which was delicious by the way) we were informed that a guest had been murdered overnight. We were told to go to locations around the town of Saint Johns to gather our murder mystery clues. Once the clue hunting had concluded the evening consisted of dinner, dessert (also delicious) and an intense interrogation by the detective. After a very heated question and answer session where we all were pointing fingers at everyone else, we were ordered to choose who we thought had committed the murder. The individual that solved the murder mystery received the highly coveted Pineapple on a Stick! My wife and I decided to stay up late into the night and finish the puzzle laid out on the table in the library. The following morning, we chose to enjoy breakfast (delicious again) in bed followed by a short nap before leaving the inn. To say we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend would be a huge understatement! As in my previous review, The Nordic Pineapple is a true gem with hospitality second to none! Thank you again for a truly wonderful weekend getaway! We'll see you again soon!

We have been to many B&Bs in Michigan, and this just went to the top of our list. The town has great food, especially the brewery and Swanny's pub. We met so many genuine people and completely relaxed, just what we needed to recharge. We already booked the next trip! Can't wait to come back.

We are so thankful to have had an Anniversary night away at the Nordic Pineapple! It was perfect in every way. The home is even bigger in person and sooo gorgeous. The Inn Keepers are delightful. We were offered unexpected snacks and drinks (cold/hot) at any hour, which was a totally unexpected charm. The jetted tub....ohhhh the jetted tub. And gourmet breakfast served to us in the morning (and sweetly accommodating my vegetarian diet!). We most definitely couldn't have asked for more! Thank you Thank you. xoxo

I needed a change of scenery for about a week and came across the Nordic Pineapple in a B&B search. The B&B itself looked beautiful in the pictures, but what really grabbed me was the About Us page. That was my first glimpse of Kjersten and Greg, and their story made me want to make a reservation with them. Well...they did not disappoint. Driving down the street to the Nordic Pineapple and seeing the B&B for the first time was breathtaking. The home is beautiful. Kjersten and Greg offered me a very welcome greeting and showed me around. There were a few areas to choose from to sit quietly and read or work on a puzzle or just relax by the fire. The room I stayed in was big, and the large jetted tub was was over-the-top luxurious. Best of all, Greg is a really good chef. I had special dietary needs that he always made sure to cover, and the food was comfortingly delicious. You would never have know that my French toast was gluten-free.

I stayed there a little over a week, and every day I noticed something new about the decor. You can see that Kjersten and Greg pay attention to the details. They keep the place spotlessly clean, too. I was constantly making a flavored coffee or tea in the refreshment room, and the mugs. the glasses, the silverware, and the dishes - and the counters for that matter - never needed that extra wipe off we OCD'ers usually do as a part of our standard procedures. That was very reassuring.

I met some of the coolest people there, too!

The Nordic Pineapple is a welcoming place. If you're looking for impeccable charm, lux accommodations, and top-notch customer service, then this is the place to be.

2-night quick get-a-way stay at The Nordic Pineapple, and it was awesome. This mansion is meticulous in decor and cleanliness. Awesome amenities-always available drinks/snacks which was great. Breakfast was delicious and prepared by Owner Greg, who also had great info on the interesting history of this very grand home. Very comfortable-furnishings and bedding. Our room and bath were comfortable, spacious and clean. We know a good Inn as we have stayed in B&B's for 40 years on our travels from California to Boston and this ranks as one the best! Thank you, Nordic Pineapple!

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast were wonderful. Highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. The bed and breakfast has a fascinating history and the decor is amazing. The bed could not have been more comfortable and the owners bend over backwards to make your stay memorable.

On weekends my wife and I like to travel to quaint, small towns around Michigan to unwind from our everyday lives. We were so happy to have booked the Yellow Pig at the Nordic Pineapple! Greg and Kjersten were the most gracious of hosts! The history of the house is amazing. Snacks and beverages galore on both floors. Lots of spacious sitting areas inside and outside. A library with plenty of books and a puzzle you can contribute to throughout the day. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We met other couples and had a great time out on the covered deck talking and laughing into the evening. This place is a true gem. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be visiting again!

It was amazing!! We were greeted in the lobby and given the tour by Kjersten. It's a wonderful home with spacious rooms, multiple seating areas and libraries, lots of fireplaces (Greg got one lit for me to sit and read by), coffee areas with Keurig's and water stations, snacks and several porches. Very relaxing place to forget the world in a jetted tub! It's close to downtime, and the neighborhood is lovely to take a walk in. Choose you breakfast time 8, 9 or 10 so get up and going at your own pace. If you've never stayed in a b & b stay here! If you stayed in many, this would top them all. We just got home and are booked for the end of July! We stayed in the pink pumpkin room, so we had a lovely porch all our own. All the rooms look amazing though so I think any choice would be great. Thank you, Kjersten and Greg,

We had a wonderful stay at The Nordic Pineapple this last weekend!! The rooms were spacious and beautiful! The whole house was so cozy! Numerous porches to relax on, rooms to sit and read books or play games! We could get a snack or cup of coffee anytime we wanted! The breakfasts we had both days were so delicious! Huge portions! I wish we could've stayed longer! We had to leave early Sunday morning and thought we would miss breakfast, but Greg served us a delicious French toast bake and bacon! I would give this bed and breakfast 5 stars! Hope to come back soon!

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Loved every second! My husband and I snuck away for our first ever B&B experience and I'm so glad we choose the Nordic Pineapple. Beautiful, peaceful, clean and amazing breakfast. We will definitely return ourselves and recommend to others to visit. The innkeepers were kind and helpful even going beyond the call to supply a couple items we forgot.

My husband surprised me with an overnight in the Green Duck suite. It was absolutely FABULOUS!! The suite was warm and inviting, the big tub was great for a relaxing soak and the bed was so comfy. The little extras are so worth it, a dozen gorgeous red roses, ice cream treat in bed and breakfast in bed was so nice🥰 The husband and wife duo that run the bed and breakfast are so very sweet and will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you could possibly want. We will definitely be returning to try the other beautiful suites!! We give it a 10+!! Thank you for a very romantic anniversary😍
